Texas hold’em which is the variation of the card game of poker is also known as Texas hold’em. Two cards which are known as hole cards are handled face down to each player, and then the five community cards are handled face up in three stages. Each stage consists of a set of three cards known as “the flop”, later an additional single card known as “the turn” or “fourth street”, and a final card known as “the river” or “fifth street”. All the players look for the best five card poker hand from any combination of the seven cards of the five community cards and also their two hole cards. All the players have betting choices to check, call, raise, or fold. The betting rounds take place before the flop is handled and after each consecutive deal. The player who has the best hand and has not folded by the end of the all the rounds of betting wins the total money of the bet for the hand which is more likely known as the pot.

In Texas hold’em all the players compete to win the total money of bet which is contributed by the players themselves which are known as the pot. Since the cards are handled in random and not in the control of the players, each player tries to control the money in the pot based on the hand their holding or based on their prediction about the cards of their opponents based on their actions and behavior.
The game is divided into a series of hands at the ending of each hand the pot is usually rewarded to one player. There is an exception when the game ends up with a tie in which the pot is divided. There is also another situation where the ending of the hand occurs when all except for one player have folded and have thereby deserted any claim to the pot, in this type of situation the pot is rewarded to the player who has not folded.
The objective of the winning players is not to win all the hands but also to make a better mathematical and psychological decisions regarding when and how much to bet, raise, call or fold. The winning player knows how to enhance their opponent’s betting and increase their own expected gain on each betting rounds to increase their long-term winnings.
Texas hold’em is usually played using small and big blind bets which is the forced bets by two players. The dealer button is the representation of the player who is in the dealer position. The dealer button rotates clockwise after each hand. This changes the position of the dealer and blinds. The small blind is placed by the player to the left of the dealer and is normally equivalent to the half of the big blind. The big blind is placed by the player to the left of the small blind, is equivalent to the minimum bet.
When only two players retain special “head to head” or “heads up” rules are imposed and the blinds are placed differently.in this situation, the person with the dealer button places the small blind, while the opponent places the big blind. The dealer acts first before the flop. After the flop, the dealer acts at the last and continues to do so for the remaining hand.
The three most famous and common variations of Texas hold’em are limit hold’em, no-limit holds ’em and pot-limit hold’em.
